Project Details
McCafferty Legal continues to advise a client on the development of the Energy (Renewable Transformation and Jobs) Act (ERTJ Act) and regulations in Queensland. Our work on this project has included input to the conceptual framework and design of that legislation, and detailed review and feedback on draft legislation and regulations.
Following the passing of the legislation, McCafferty Legal is supporting its client with the roll out of renewable energy zones in Queensland; applying the legislation to project development on the ground and navigating the interaction between the National Electricity Rules, the ERTJ Act and zone-specific development needs.
