Tony Holland

Tony has more than 40 years’ experience in the law and long been regarded as one of the leading project finance lawyers in Australia and overseas. He has extensive experience advising across the spectrum of project and infrastructure finance, including energy (and particularly renewable energy), resources, oil and gas, PPPs, both in Australia and internationally, as well as privatisations and acquisition and leveraged finance. 

Tony has been a partner of King & Wood Mallesons, (where he was the head of the banking and finance group and deputy chairman of the firm), Managing Partner of DLA Piper Australia, a partner of Gilbert & Tobin and a partner of PWC Legal. 

Tony has also lectured for a number of years in infrastructure development and in project finance and for the last five years or so, focused on financing of renewables, for the Master of Laws program at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He also co-authored a chapter on project finance in the textbook Australian Finance Law.

Tony practices primarily in the firm’s service area of funding and project finance, and also regularly provides his wealth of expertise across other areas of the firm’s offerings.
